Vocabulary and listening
Students start by discussing their personal experiences with decluttering. Later, they may confess to being a magpie by reviewing possessions that they own and getting to know useful household vocabulary. Other activities include an authentic video with tips about decluttering to work on listening skills, followed by a sentence completion exercise and a meaningful discussion. Finally, the students work on making their own decluttering tips and practise problem-solving skills with an analysis of a photo of a decluttered space.Â
