  • revise the possessions vocabulary at Pre-Intermediate level
  • listen to an authentic material about an F1 driver discussing his daily essentials
  • learn about pre-modifiers and introduction to vocabulary at Intermediate level

Listening and vocabulary

Listening and vocabulary practice with a video for A2/B1 students, but also a great lesson for an F1 fan. The lesson serves as a great bridge from Pre-Intermediate A2+ to Intermediate B1. Vocabulary about jewellery, accessories or musical instruments – all about possessions! The worksheet features a link to an optional video in which Charles Leclerc explains why some belongings are important for him and a variety of listening activities (open questions, true / false, gap-filling). After listening your students can also practice nouns with premodifiers to talk about gadgets (noise-cancelling headphones, cooling bed sheet, electric blanket) and talk a lot about things your students can’t live without.
