Grammar
Take away your students’ fears of the passive – once and for all. The worksheet includes the cheat sheet with passive form of Present Simple, Past Simple and Future Simple. In the practice section, the students analyse the form in multiple choice exercise and transition between tenses in a short article about how food advertisements are made. As an optional authentic material extention, the teacher can show a video with 5 minute hacks about how to make food advertisements (the link is provided). The lesson plan includes other form and use exercises like transformations, making quiz questions and discussion questions in passive. Lastly, guided speaking with photos and prompts (for less creative students) which requires a natural use of the passive. No boredom, just bringing to perfection.
