Grammar

Two pages which make a perfect “used to” worksheet! Starting with a cheat sheet with positive and negative sentences, as well as interrogatives, followed by gapped sentences, the brick ensures that your students will use the phrase correctly. However, the most engaging part is recalling memories. We all love to say that life used to be different. Let your student cast their minds back to their childhood and teenage years, compare them to the present, and ask fellow students questions about their past. Then, practice the use of “used to” in transformations – an exam task on “used to”. At the end, you can find an engaging text about women’s situation in the past. Not only does it make your students think, but also realises the importance of “used to“ to talk about the past.
