Vocabulary and speaking

A big health vocabulary revision including a list of useful phrases at the doctor’s and health/illnesses/injury words, which your students can practice in engaging tasks. Instead of long lists with translations, the brick presents a clearly divided list of symptoms, illnesses, injuries and treatments. In the first exercise, students work on confusing words like pain, sore and ache. Later, they match words to definitions. Then, students talk about their experiences with health problems and tests, practicing the meaning of the phrases at the same time. But what would be a health lesson without dialogues? Real-life examples of at-the-doctors conversations await, gapped so that your students work on the vocabulary in context. Finally, full speaking experience, with prompted role-plays and questions for discussion. Stay healthy and enjoy the lesson!
